The Applications Centre of the Market Unit Chemical & Pharma gives application and market development support to our worldwide sales organisation and market managers. In order to intensify our market development activities within the area of Green Chemicals we invite applications for the position of:
Market Development Specialist (Chemical industry)
The job:
In close cooperation with the responsible market manager, you will be responsible for the market development activities within the field of Green Chemicals for the Chemical industry.
This covers activities like building the technical case, coordinate the (external) application research, discussing new application concepts with (potential) customers and giving the necessary technical support to the sales organisations for further roll-out. When feasible, you will also participate in new product development projects.
Your profile:
You are a graduate in chemistry (Academic or HBO-plus) with around 5 years working experience in product/application development and marketing and/or sales of specialty chemicals, preferably in an international environment. This will be your 2nd or 3rd step up in your career. We expect you to have an inquisitive mind, analytical skills, a practical interest, B-to-B marketing experience and a drive for quality and the ability to work individually as well as in multidisciplinary teams. You must be fluent in English (verbally and in writing).
