Our customer has recently changed its business strategy which is currently being implemented. Internal communication plays a vital role in managing this change. Therefore a specialized staff member will be added to the Corporate Communications Team and we are looking for an experienced:

About the job:
This post sits within the Global Communications Team working alongside external and corporate communications to ensure overall consistency as well as drawing on each
other’s knowledge and expertise. The post has a close liaison with the Global HR Director.
The Global Communications Team is part of the Marketing, Planning & Projects department. This department works for the management team, Market Units and worldwide sales offices focusing on the communication strategy, market- and competitive intelligence, maintenance product line and tradenames and for the global management supporting them in their communication to groups of staff.
Job activities:
The Internal Communications Specialist is responsible for the effective delivery of information and corporate communications to all employees.
> Support the Management in internal communications implementation:
- Support departmental management in the development of an effective global internal communications strategy in line with business objectives, develop clear proposals for defined parts and implement the plan after getting approval.
- Developing feedback channels to promote cross communication between employees and management
- Developing and executing company-wide campaigns
> Production of global internal communications tools:
- Developing and implementing a frequent e-bulletin for employees, which includes writing, editing, circulating for approvals and the production of the e-bulletin
- Work closely with the Information Department who manage the intranet to ensure the effective use of this tool for internal communications.
- Developing, implementing an effective intranet homepage
- Editor of the intranet homepage
- Work closely with local contact persons to provide content for e-bulletin and the homepage of the Intrane
> Support other internal communications programs:
- Work closely with local contact persons to support and align local internal communication programs and initiatives
- Develop a calendar of forthcoming global projects which require internal communications and work with the relevant stakeholder to ensure effective communications.
- Organization of global events (e.g. management meetings, business events) which require internal communications
- Support managers in their formal communication to their teams by giving advice for information packs, presentations etc
> Other tasks:
- Raise the profile of internal communications within our company and ensure it is incorporated into all relevant projects
- Assisting HR in Staff surveys by advising on tone of voice, clarity of questions etc
- Contact person for CSM with respect to internal communication issues and briefings
- Solicit and act on feedback to ensure employee communications are relevant and measurably effective.
Job requirements:
- A bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism or a related field (HBO/WO)
- Minimum 4 years experience working at a similar level in a similar role
- Experience of delivering internal communications across multiple countries, cultures and office locations is essential.
- Experience with developing and managing communications programs from the strategic concept to the deliverable
- Able to communicate, guide, persuade and build relationships at all levels including Management
- Able to balance priorities, be pro-active and show initiative
- Able to work under pressure and independently
- Strong written and oral communication skills is essential
- Keen attention to detail
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Fluent in English (verbal and in writing)

- Demonstrated web publishing skills and experience
- Microsoft Office proficiency
